Keep your cool and act like an innocent crewmate. Accuse someone else subtly, and provide logical reasons for your actions. If you get caught out, feign ignorance or blame a glitch – who hasn't been thrown off by a game bug before?
Deny everything and shift the blame! Just insist you were nowhere near the crime scene and point fingers at another player 'acting suspiciously'.
From my experience, the best way to lie is to mimic the tasks other players say they've done. If someone mentions doing wires, you say you did wires too but remember to specify where!
