The only way to get a battery pack in Stardead Valley isn't by making it, but by harvesting it from lightning rods after a thunderstorm. Place a lightning rod on your farm, and every time there's a storm, you've got a chance to snag yourself a battery pack the next morning. Don't forget to check the weather report on your TV to prepare!

You can't craft a battery pack, but you can get them from lightning rods during thunderstorms, or as loot in the Skull Cavern. Also, keep an eye out for the traveling cart, she sometimes sells them!

Actually, I stumbled upon one in the Skull Cavern without needing a lightning rod. It was a lucky day, though.

Just wait for a storm and have a lightning rod up. No crafting required, nature does the work!
