Fish ponds are a rip-off. Better spend your gold on crops or upgrading tools.

Actually, fish ponds are fantastic for making steady income and getting rare items. I've had a pond with sturgeons, and the caviar you can harvest is great for making bank. Totally worth it in the long run!

Making a fish pond in Stardew Valley is super simple but super cool. First thing, you'll need to have Robin, the local carpenter, upgrade your farm buildings. Gather up 200 stones, 5 seaweed, and 5 green algae. These are the magic ingredients. Then, hit up Robin's shop, pay her 5,000 gold, and BOOM, you're all set to place your brand new fish pond anywhere on your farm. Wait a couple of days, and you're ready to start raising fish!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:
