Building a roof in Valheim is super easy! First, make sure you have a hammer and plenty of wood. Open the building menu with your hammer equipped, choose the 'thatched roof' pieces, and snap them onto your walls. If they don't snap properly, try adjusting your angle or adding support beams!

I found that using 26掳 roof tiles for the base and 45掳 for steep sections works best. Roof snapping can be finicky, but a little patience goes a long way!

You need a hammer, wood, and walls to snap the roof pieces onto. Open the building menu and select thatched roof options.

Just get a hammer and wood, open the build menu, and snap thatched roof pieces on your walls. It's easier than your first deer hunt in the game!
