To make a scarecrow in Stardew Valley, you gotta level up your farming skill to level 1 first. This unlocks the crafting recipe. Then, just gather 50 wood, 1 coal, and 20 fiber, and boom, you can craft it in your inventory! Place it on your farm to keep those pesky crows away from your crops.

Honestly, just level up and grab some resources. If you can't keep crows away after that, farming might not be your calling. ?

Protip: Scarecrows won't stop crows if they're not within their protective circle. Make a bunch and scatter them around to cover all your crops. More scarecrows = less headache from lost crops.

Don't forget, positioning is key! Scarecrows have a protection radius of 8 tiles away in every direction, so place them strategically around your crops to maximize their effectiveness.
