Gotta say, making a game like Stardew Valley ain't easy. It took ConcernedApe about 4 years of solo development. If you're serious, prepare for a long haul of learning and developing. But hey, seeing your own world come to life is worth it!

Honestly, just start simple. Stardew Valley was made by one guy, ConcernedApe, who learned everything on the go. Begin with the basic mechanic you love the most, be it farming, mining, or relationship building, then expand from there. Also, passion for your project makes a huge difference.

Making a game like Stardew Valley starts with mastering a few key components: coding skills, particularly in a language suited for game development like C# if you're using Unity; an understanding of game design principles, especially those involved in creating compelling farming and life simulation mechanics; pixel art or another art style for your game's visuals; and creating engaging, memorable characters and storylines. Dive into each of these areas, experiment, and don't be afraid to seek feedback from the gaming community!
