To make iron bars in Stardew Valley, you first gotta find yourself some iron ore. Head over to the mines - starting at level 40 is where you'll start finding iron ore. You'll need 5 iron ore for each bar. Then, make your way over to a furnace, pop those ores in there with a piece of coal, and voila! In no time, you'll have yourself an iron bar.

Easy peasy: Get 5 iron ore +1 coal -> Furnace = Iron Bar. The mines are your best friend after level 40 for iron ore.

Actually, smelting iron bars is part of the fun in Stardew Valley. I remember my first iron bar - felt like I struck gold. But yeah, grab 5 iron ores from the mines (deep dive into +40 levels) and have coal handy. The furnace does the rest. You'll use these bars for all sorts of upgrades and crafting. Get mining!
