Easy peasy! Just chuck a piece of quartz (yes, the same shiny rocks you find in the mines) into a furnace with 1 coal. Wait a bit, and bam, you've got yourself some refined quartz. Pro tip: Broken CD's and glasses you fish out of the water also turn into refined quartz in the recycling machine. Talk about turning trash into treasure!

Throw quartz in the furnace. Needs 1 coal. That's it.

Honestly, I find recycling broken glasses and CDs way more satisfying than using up my precious quartz. You get the same refined quartz and clean up the environment. Two birds, one stone!

Refined quartz? Just smelt quartz with coal. But don't waste it! Remember, refined quartz is also a crafting material. Hoard it like a dragon.
