How to make the platformer mode in Geometry Dash 2.1
DebiasingPons路7 months agoSo you wanna dive into the platformer mode in GD 2.1, huh? Cool beans! First things first, grab that Level Editor button like it owes you money. Then, hunt down the 'edit object' tab, and voila, you'll see an option for 'Activate Group'. Here's the kicker: Assign this to the player with a unique group ID. Now, snag a 'Stop' trigger from the trigger section (yeah, it's kinda like shopping but with zero guilt) and set it to the same Group ID as your player. Bam! Platformer mode activated. Jump through hoops, dodge spikes, and don't forget to blink. It's simple, but also like patting your head and rubbing your belly at the same time. Have fun!

Honestly, I don't get the hype with the platformer mode. Stick to the jumping; it's what GD's all about.
Just use the 'Stop' trigger, link it to the player. It's not rocket science.
