To pet your animals in Stardew Valley, all you gotta do is walk up to them and right-click on PC, or use the corresponding action button on consoles and mobile. Each animal has a little heart pop up when you've successfully given them some love. Just don't try to pet them with a tool selected, or you might accidentally hit them instead. Give 'em love, not war!

Just walk over and click on them, no treats needed. Animals in Stardew love free pets!

Actually, petting animals in Stardew Valley boosts their happiness and productivity! As someone who's spent more hours than I care to admit meticulously managing my farm, those daily petting sessions lead to higher quality products. Pro tip: don't forget to pet your dog or cat too for that extra dose of wholesomeness.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
