Planting in Stardew Valley on your Switch is super simple! First, make sure you've got some seeds - you can buy them from Pierre's store or get them in other ways like foraging. Then, you'll need to till the soil using your hoe. Just walk up to the spot where you want to plant, select the hoe in your inventory, and press 'A' to till. After that, select the seeds from your inventory, stand over the tilled soil, and press 'A' again to plant. Don't forget to water your seeds with the watering can every day until they grow into delicious crops!

Remember to water those seeds daily! They won't grow if you forget, and you'll just end up wasting your precious seeds.

Actually, you don't even need to buy seeds at first. Just scavenge for some wild seeds during your foraging ventures. Free and efficient if you're just starting out!
