How to Play Local Multiplayer in Stardew Valley on Switch
Easy peasy! To play local multiplayer on Stardew Valley with your Switch, one player needs to start a local co-op game from the main menu. Then, other players can join by starting Stardew Valley on their own Switch and selecting 'Co-op' > 'Local'. Make sure everyone's on the same Wi-Fi network, and you're all set to farm together!

You need two things: a second set of Joy-Cons or a Pro Controller, and another player. On the main game screen, choose 'Co-op', 'Host', then 'Local', and have your friend select 'Co-op', 'Join', and then 'Local' from their Switch. Boom, welcome to your shared farm!
Local multiplayer? Who even does that anymore? Just use online, way easier to set up and you don't have to share your snacks.
