I usually use third-party services like G-Portal to host my Valheim server. It keeps things stable and lag-free. Your friends will thank you!
To play multiplayer in Valheim, just start a world, open the Start Server menu, and share the server name and password with friends. Easy peasy, Viking squeezy!
Honestly, just send your Steam friends an invite through the game. No need for all the complicated stuff.
Make sure you forward your ports if you're hosting on your own PC. Otherwise, your friends might not be able to join!
