Oh, baiting a hook in Stardew Valley is super easy once you get the hang of it! First, make sure you've upgraded your Fishing Pole to at least a Fiberglass Rod, 'cause the basic one won't let you use bait. Then, just open your inventory, pick up the bait (left-click or tap and hold on mobile), and right-click or tap on the rod. Bam! You're all baited up and ready to catch some fish!

Just a heads up, if you're trying to bait the bamboo pole, it's a no-go. Gotta upgrade to that sweet Fiberglass Rod or better. Then, right-click with bait on rod, and you're gold!

Honestly, I just smash buttons until it works. But seriously, upgrading your rod is key. Then click bait, click rod. If I figured it out, you can too!

Why bother with bait? Just enjoy the Zen of fishing. But, if you must, remember: Fiberglass Rod or bust. Upgrade, then click and drag. Easy.
