You actually can't put bait on the Bamboo Pole in Stardew Valley. You'll need to upgrade to at least the Fiberglass Rod, which Willy sells at the Fishing Shop after you reach fishing level 2. Once you have that, just open your inventory, select the bait, and right click (or tap, depending on your platform) on the rod. Voil脿, bait attached!

Tried and tested, folks - the Bamboo Pole is basically the starter kit in Stardew Valley. No fancy features. Get yourself a Fiberglass Rod or something better, and then it's just a simple click to add your bait. Trust me, it'll change your fishing game entirely!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
