Just a quick tip: You need the Fiberglass Rod at least, buddy. Bamboo Rod? No bait for you. Got the right rod? Right-click the bait, then right-click your rod. Easy peasy.

Make sure you're not trying this with the starter rod. You can't put bait on that one. Upgrade your rod, and attaching bait is a breeze. Right-click on the bait, then the rod, and you're all set.

You're overthinking it, just upgrade your rod first. The Bamboo Pole is basically a stick; it鈥檚 no good for bait. Get a better rod, then it's as simple as clicking your bait, then your rod. Done!

First thing's first, make sure you've got the Fiberglass Rod or the Iridium Rod because the basic Bamboo Rod won't let you attach any bait. Now, just open your inventory, right-click on the bait to pick it up, and then right-click on the rod. Boom! Baited and ready to catch some fish!
