Gotta level up in fishing first, my friend! The Bamboo Rod won't do the trick. Upgrade to at least a Fiberglass Rod, then just press 'A' on it with the bait selected. Easy peasy.

First off, make sure you've got the Fiberglass Rod or better, cause you can't bait the basic one. Now, grab your bait (select it in your inventory), then with the bait selected, press 'A' on the rod in your toolbar. Voila! You're all set to catch some fish.

You're overthinking it! Get the right rod, select the bait, and press 'A'. If it's not working, you might not have the upgraded rod yet. Keep fishing!

Just drag and drop, folks... oh wait, it's Switch. In that case, level up, get a decent rod, select bait, and A-button it onto your rod. Welcome to Stardew's easy mode fishing!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
