First things first, make sure you've got the right rod! You can only add bait to the Fiberglass Rod or the Iridium Rod. So, if you're still rocking the basic Bamboo Pole, you're out of luck. Now, assuming you've got the right rod, open your inventory, tap on the bait (little icon looks like a bug) to pick it up, then tap on the rod. Bam! Baited and ready to catch some fish.

You can't add bait to the Bamboo Pole. Had to learn that the hard way after wondering why my fish weren't biting. Upgrade your rod!

Tap the bait, then your rod. If it's not working, you're probably using the Bamboo Pole. Upgrade that stick!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
