Oh, it's super easy! Just make sure you've got an Iridium Rod first because you can't attach a spinner to the basic or fiberglass rods. Open your inventory, right-click the dressed spinner, then right-click the Iridium Rod. Voila, you're set!

Can't do it without an Iridium Rod. Learnt that the hard way after trying to attach it to my basic rod for ages.

Just slap that spinner on the Iridium Rod. No biggie. Fiberglass and basic rods? Forget about it, won't work.
