How to Put Fish in the Fish Tank in Stardew Valley
First things first: snag yourself a fish tank! You can either buy a 'Fish Tank' furniture item from Robin's Carpenter Shop or scoop up an 'Aquarium' during the Night Market event in winter. After placing the tank wherever you fancy in your farmhouse, just walk up to it with the fish you wanna showcase in your inventory, right-click on the tank or press the 'use' button, and bam! Your new finned friend has a cozy new home.

Gonna play devil's advocate here - why fill your house with fish tanks when you could fill it with kegs or preserve jars? More profit, less fishy smell. ;)
