To attach a hook to your fishing rod in Stardew Valley on the Switch, first, make sure you've got an Iridium Rod, since hooks can't be attached to the Bamboo or Fiberglass rods. Open your inventory, select the hook, and then with the hook selected, press A on the Iridium Rod in your inventory. Boom! Hook attached, and you're ready to catch some fish!

Just to clear things up, you CAN'T put a hook on anything but the Iridium Rod. If you're trying to attach it to a Bamboo or Fiberglass Rod, it's not gonna work. Upgrade first!

Actually, attaching a hook isn't hard at all! I did it by accident the first time. Just make sure it's an Iridium Rod, select the hook in your inventory, and then tap A on the rod. Easy peasy.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
