Raising chickens in Stardew Valley is pretty straightforward but super rewarding! First thing's first, you'll need a coop. Head over to Robin's to get one built on your farm. Once that's set, go buy some chickens from Marnie's Ranch. Pop those fluffy babies into your coop, and don't forget to feed them daily with either hay (you can cut this with your scythe from grass) or by letting them outside to peck at the ground (they love this). Keep 'em happy, and you'll get eggs every day. Easy peasy!

Just buy 'em and feed 'em. Chickens are low maintenance.

Honestly, chickens were my first love in Stardew. They're so easy to take care of once you get the hang of it. Getting that first coop built and bringing your chickens home feels like a major step in your farming career. Feeding them is a cinch, and watching them roam around pecking at the ground when you let them outside is just the best. Plus, those daily eggs they lay? Chef's kiss!
