Keep Max alive by following the correct choices and have Laura survive her encounters. Eventually, they'll reunite and continue the story together. Easy peasy!
Make sure Laura doesn't get bitten in Chapter 3 and keep Max out of danger in Chapter 9. Happy reunion guaranteed!
Avoid getting Laura infected in Chapter 3, and handle Max with care later in the game. They'll meet again if you keep them alive!
