Some items can't be rotated, guys. So, hitting A might do nada if you picked a stubborn one!
Honestly, you just press A when you're holding the item you wanna rotate. But yeah, like the other person said, not everything does the twisty thing. So if you're mashing A and nothing's happening, it's not you, it's the item.
