How to Run in Stardew Valley

Running in Stardew Valley is the default movement speed, so you're already zooming around your farm and town without needing to press anything extra. However, if you feel the need for speed, make sure you're not holding down the 'walk' key (which is usually Shift on PC). On consoles, there's typically not a walk button, so you're always running. Hope your farm boots are comfy!

Just a heads up, if you're playing on PC and find yourself moving slower than a snail, you might be accidentally pressing the 'Shift' key, which makes you walk. Let go of that, and you'll be running again!

No need to figure out how to run. You're always running by default! Can't get any simpler than that.

Honestly, walking everywhere in Stardew Valley is underrated. Running's great and all, but when you walk, you really get to take in the scenery and vibe with the town. Plus, you're not in that much of a rush, right?

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
