Don't forget, you can also sell directly to certain shops in town for instant cash. Pierre’s General Store, for example, will buy your crops. The Blacksmith will take your minerals and artifacts. More immediate than the shipping box, but you gotta make the trip.
Pro tip: Keep an eye on the TV or check online for the 'Queen of Sauce' cooking show. Some items are worth much more when crafted into dishes or products. Maximizing profits!
