How to separate money in Stardew Valley
In Stardew Valley, if you're playing in multiplayer mode, you can choose to pool your money with your farmhands or keep it separate when you start the game. It's an option you'll see in the co-op menu. Once you choose, though, you're kinda stuck with it unless you're willing to dive into the game's files to change it. So choose wisely!

You can't split money in single-player mode in Stardew Valley. In multiplayer, just tick the 'separate money' option at the start. Easy peasy.
Honestly, pooling your money in multiplayer makes for a better team strategy, IMO. Separating it just makes everything harder. Why make things harder on yourself?
