There's no dedicated kick returner on Retro Bowl. The player who catches the kick automatically becomes the returner based on their position and formation.
From experience, just make sure you have a fast player with good agility in the WR or RB slot; they'll handle returns well. Go team!
To set your kick returner, just go to the 'Roster' menu, tap on the player's name who you want as your kick returner, and select the 'Set as KR' option. Easy peasy!
