First things first, you gotta have a Furnace. You'll need 20 Copper Ores and 25 Stones; then, craft that Furnace! Place your ore and some coal in the furnace, wait a bit, and voila! You've got yourself a bar of metal.

Go simple: Furnace + Coal + Ore = Metal Bar. It's like a microwave for miners.

I legit spent a week in-game thinking smelting needed something extra. Just pop the ore and coal into the furnace and hit 'OK.' The anticipation is killer, but the result is so worth it.

Hot Take: The smelting wait time is actually a great moment for a snack break or to stretch your legs. You don't want to miss it finishing, though; that shiny bar popping up is the best part.

Don't forget coal! Without it, your furnace is just a fancy rock. Coal + Ore = Metal Bar magic.
