How to Start Off in Stardew Valley
WhammellingSuite·8 months agoStarting off in Stardew Valley, first thing's first: Don't sweat the small stuff! Your grandpa leaves you a farm - it's a bit of a mess, but that's part of the charm. Start by clearing some land, plant a few crops (parsnips come with the farm for free), and visit the town. Meeting the locals and exploring can get you familiar with where everything is. Remember, it’s okay to take it slow - you can’t do everything at once!

Invest in crops! The key early on is to buy seeds and plant them. Keep an eye on the season because some crops only grow in certain seasons. Water them every day unless it rains. Turnaround is quick, and before you know it, you’ll make a profit to reinvest in more seeds.
Don't bother with animals early on. They're expensive and take time to pay off. Focus on crops and exploring the mines for resources instead.
Just fish. Seriously, fishing can be a great way to make early money in Stardew Valley. It might be tricky at first, but once you get the hang of it, you'll be rolling in Gold (G). Use that money to expand your farm, buy seeds, and upgrade tools. A good rod makes all the difference!
