To stop a PayPal payment, quickly head to your 'Activity' tab and look for the transaction. If it's still pending, you might have luck clicking the 'Cancel' link next to it—otherwise, contact the seller to request a refund or dispute the transaction directly with PayPal!
I've stopped a payment before by immediately contacting the recipient and politely asking them for a refund—worked like a charm!
