Build a small outpost with a campfire and a bed. This way, if something nasty like a stone golem decides to smash you, you won't have to trek all the way back.
Wear some wolf armor or the Lox cape to keep warm, and you'll look fabulous while resisting the cold. Don't forget to bring plenty of food for health and stamina boosts.
Honestly, just avoid the mountains until you鈥檙e geared up. The enemies there are no joke!
From personal experience, climbing those peaks is so worth it. Found obsidian, silver, and even a dragon egg once! Just stay warm and be prepared for a fight!
