Turning ore into bars in Stardew Valley is straightforward! First, you need a furnace. You can craft one after Clint, the local blacksmith, gives you the blueprint the day after you collect your first copper ore. To make a furnace, you'll need 20 copper ores and 25 stones. Once you have your furnace, place it anywhere on your farm, toss in 5 pieces of ore along with 1 piece of coal, and voila, you'll have yourself a bar in no time!

I've been playing Stardew Valley since launch, and crafting bars is essential. Quick tip: keep your furnace near your mining chests for efficiency. And stockpile coal! You'll need it as much as the ores.

I think turning ores into bars is overrated. Just buy them if you need them and save the hassle and resources for something else!

Just get a furnace, man. 5 ores + 1 coal = 1 bar. Easy.
