Oh, easy-peasy! Just hit F4 or the ESC key while you're playing. F4 toggles between full-screen and windowed mode, while ESC usually brings up the menu, where you can change it in the settings. Just in case one doesn't do the trick, try the other!

Just smack the ESC key, should do the trick and get you out of full screen. Works like a charm every time for me.

Honestly, just press F4. Windowed mode is superior anyway.
