You'll need to defeat the second boss, The Elder. After you take him down, you'll get the key to the swamp crypts where you can mine iron. Once you have iron, you can craft a stonecutter and then... BAM! Stone buildings unlocked! Happy building!

You gotta get yourself some iron. Smelt that bad boy in a furnace, and then craft a stonecutter. Once you get the stonecutter, you can make stone buildings. But watch out for trolls鈥攖hey love smashing new constructions!

Just kill The Elder and start mining iron. Stonecutter is the key.

I remember the first time I unlocked stone buildings鈥攇ame changer! Defeating The Elder felt like a huge accomplishment, and once I crafted that stonecutter, my Viking fortress dreams came true.
