Unlocking the Wizard Tower in Stardew Valley is actually pretty straightforward. All you need to do is progress through the game until you receive a letter from the wizard himself, which usually happens around the 6th day of Spring in your first year. This letter invites you to visit him. Just head to the tower in the Cindersap Forest, southwest of your farm, and voila, you're in!
