Updating Stardew Valley is pretty straightforward! If you're on Steam or a similar platform, the game usually updates automatically when updates are released, as long as you're connected to the internet. Just make sure Steam is set to keep your games updated. On console (like PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch), you might need to go to the game's page on your console's shop and select 'Update' if automatic updates aren't enabled. For mobile devices, just head to your app store and update the game manually if your phone doesn't do it by itself.

Just let it auto-update, lol. Seriously, almost every platform does it for you these days.

I had to manually update it on my Switch once. Had to press '+' on the game icon, go to 'Software Update', and then 'Via the Internet'. Worked like a charm!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
