Upgrading your chicken coop in Stardew Valley is simple but essential for a thriving farm. First, you need to have enough Gold (the in-game currency). The first upgrade, the Big Coop, needs 10,000G and 400 pieces of wood. Head over to Robin's carpenter shop north of town to order the upgrade. She's the go-to for all your building upgrades, so make sure you've got the materials and cash ready! Once upgraded, you can house more chickens and even incubate eggs to hatch new chicks. Remember, upgrading also unlocks the ability to raise ducks.

Honestly, upgrading the chicken coop was the first thing I did after realizing how much more productive my farm could be. Not only did it allow me to expand my poultry empire with more chickens and introduce ducks into the mix, it also came with an incubator. Totally worth the investment!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
