Ah, the good ol' rusty sword. Classic starter gear! You can't actually upgrade the rusty sword itself in Stardew Valley. Instead, you'll need to venture deeper into the mines. As you explore, you'll find better weapons either by defeating monsters or in chests. So, keep pushing through those levels, and you'll soon find something much better. Happy mining!

From personal experience, ditch that rusty thing as soon as possible. Found a wooden sword around level 10 in the mines and it was a game-changer. Keep an eye out for chests and tougher enemies that drop better gear!

Short and sweet: You don't. Ditch the rusty sword when you find something better in the mines.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
