Just make sure you plan the upgrade when you won't need it, like winter or a rainy day. Trust me, watering your plants by hand because you miscalculated the upgrade time is not fun. Learned that the hard way.

Dude, just upgrade it in winter. No need for rain checks or any of that.

Upgrading your watering can in Stardew Valley is super simple but needs a little timing. First, check the weather by watching the TV in your farmhouse. You're looking for a rainy day forecast for the next day. Then, water all your crops, head to Clint the Blacksmith with your watering can and some gold. Make sure you do this before 4 PM because that's when he closes. Hand it over with the required amount of bars (copper for the first upgrade), and boom, you're set. Pick it up the day after next, and you'll be watering your crops with way less hassle!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
