Actually, there's no way to 'upgrade' weapons like you do tools. You find stronger weapons either by progressing further into the mine, purchasing them from the Adventurer’s Guild, or by getting lucky with treasure chests. So, keep battling those slimes and breaking open those crates!

To upgrade your weapons in Stardew Valley, you gotta dive deep into the mines. The deeper you go, the better the loot, including more powerful weapons.
