Nope, you can't directly use non-Newgrounds songs in GD 'cause of the way the game's set up. Stick to the good stuff on Newgrounds and explore. There's tons of gems there anyway!

Actually managed to get a non-Newgrounds track into my level a while back. Uploaded the level with a Newgrounds track and then just told everyone in the level description to play my chosen song in the background instead. A bit of a workaround but it made for a cool personal touch on my level. Just make sure the song vibe matches!

To use a non-Newgrounds song in Geometry Dash, you'll need to get creative since the game primarily supports music hosted on Newgrounds. One way around this is to find if the artist has their music on Newgrounds and use the ID from there. If that's not an option, some players upload their levels with a custom song and then change the ID to a Newgrounds song, making a note for players to play with the original song in the background. Just remember, sharing levels with copyrighted music without permission can cause issues, so always respect copyright rules!

If you're a Geometry Dash player looking for extra stars or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Geometry Dash essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
