Honestly, baiting a rod is overrated. Just fish without it; saves you the hassle and the clicks. Stardew Valley's about chilling, not micromanaging bait.

Just a quick tip: you can't use bait on the basic Bamboo Pole. Upgrade to the Fiberglass Rod or better. Then, simply click the bait and then your rod. Fish will practically jump into your pockets.

Using bait in Stardew Valley is super easy! First, make sure you've got a fishing rod that can actually use bait - the Bamboo Pole won't work. Then, open your inventory, pick up the bait (left-click on PC or equivalent on other devices), and right-click on the rod (or the equivalent button). Boom, your rod is baited, and you're ready to catch some bigger fish!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!
