Just slap that Barbed Hook onto your Iridium Rod and get ready for a smoother fishing experience. Makes those legendary fish less of a nightmare to catch!

Honestly, I thought the Barbed Hook was a bit of a cheat. Makes fishing too easy IMHO. But hey, if you're into that, just attach it to your Iridium Rod and have at it.

So you've got yourself a Barbed Hook in Stardew Valley and wonder how to use it on your Switch, huh? Easy peasy! First, make sure you've got a fishing rod - the Iridium Rod, to be precise, since that's the only one that can handle tackle. Attach the Barbed Hook to your rod by opening your inventory, selecting the Barbed Hook, and then clicking on the rod. The hook makes your fishing bar cling to the fish, making it way easier to reel in those slippery suckers.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
