You can actually use Discord on your PS4 by opening the web browser and navigating to the Discord web client. It's a bit clunky, but it'll do the job for those important group chats.

Unfortunately, as of now, there's no official Discord app for PS4. But you can get creative! Use your phone or computer for Discord while gaming, and connect via PS4's party chat for voice. A bit of a workaround, but it does the trick!
