To use fishing tackle in StardW Valley on mobile, first, make sure you've upgraded your fishing rod to at least a fiberglass rod; the starter bamboo rod won't support tackle. Then, simply tap the tackle in your inventory to select it, and tap your rod to apply it. Voila, you're all set to catch some fish with a bit more style!

Honestly, don't bother with tackle until you get the hang of fishing itself. It's a game changer for sure, but master the basics first. You can thank me later.

You can't use tackle with the basic bamboo rod. Upgrade your rod first!

Just slap that tackle onto a decent rod (fiberglass or better) and watch those fish practically jump into your pocket. Serious talk - tap the tackle, then your rod. Easy.
