You can use fists by unequipping any weapon you're holding. Use the scroll wheel or the '1' key to go to your melee selection.

FYI, using fists is not the best strategy. Stick to weapons if you want to win!

Just unequip your weapon, and your character will automatically use fists. It's that simple!
