Pro tip from someone who spent WAY too many hours in Stardew Valley: keep your furnace outside your house. Saves time cuz you're gonna be smelting A LOT of ores. Also, stack up on those coals; you'll need them more than you think.

Using a furnace in Stardew Valley is pretty straightforward but super essential for advancing in the game. First, you need to craft one using 20 copper ores and 25 stones - a recipe you unlock after mining some copper. Once you have your furnace, place it anywhere on your farm. To smelt something, simply right-click on the furnace, then click on the ore in your inventory and select 'OK'. Remember, you need coal in your inventory to fuel the smelting process. Each ore type requires a different amount of time to smelt, so patience is key!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
