Using keys in the Geometry Dash level editor is like unlocking the door to creativity! First up, you gotta place a key object where you want it in the level. Now, the fun part: link this key to a door, portal, or anything you want it to activate. To do this, go into 'edit object,' select the ID for the key, and then assign the same ID to the object you want it to trigger. Voila, you've got yourself an interactive element! Don't forget to test the level to make sure everything works as it should. Experiment with different placements and objects to see what cool effects you can create.

Just slap a key down and link it with an ID to whatever you're trying to trigger. Easy, right?

Honestly, keys and triggers in GD level editor are overhyped. Just focus on making fun levels. If it adds to the fun, use it; if not, skip it.

If you're a Geometry Dash player looking for extra stars or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Geometry Dash essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
