To use the Rain Totem in Stardew Valley, just right-click (if you're on PC) or tap the tool button (on mobile and console) while it's selected in your inventory. Do this anywhere on your farm or in Pelican Town. The next day, it'll rain, making it perfect for fishing or giving your watering can a break.

Hot take: Rain Totems are a waste of resources. Just check the TV for the weather forecast and plan ahead. If it's gonna rain tomorrow, save your totem ingredients for something better.

I've been using Rain Totems in Stardew Valley for ages, and they're a game-changer, especially when you're trying to catch those rain-only fish or need to grow crops that benefit from extra water. Just make sure you've got it in your active slot, use it, and boom – guaranteed rain the next day. It feels like a little cheat code to control the weather.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
